• Garden of Adornment

Flowers are our ultimate adornment. We set them in vases and majestic arrangements, in sacred time-honored rituals, at the roots of design and architecture, and in the eternal garden that is our world.

With paper, water, and my brush, I begin with simple, classic materials, and then reimagine flower painting. I incorporate vibrant, unexpected colors, new designs, and the delightful unpredictability of wet medium and wet paper.

The Garden of Adornment embarks into realms of design and ritual that ask us where the garden really ends and human culture begins – or if there was ever a separation between the two.
